Metamorphoses of «Blue God» (N. M. Tsiskaridze in conversation with E. V. Makhrova)

Abstract

In conversation the rector of Academy of the Russian ballet N. M. Tsiskaridze tells about the performance «Blue God» which is realized within the «Russian Seasons of the XXI century» project in 2005. The performance recreates an intention of the setting of the same name of a Diaghilev’s enterprise of 1912, but along with exact reproduction of scenography of L. Bakst has also a number of the distinctive features doing by its independent work of art.
