Analysis of the pedagogical legacy of N. V. Dudinskaya. Part 2 (Lesson for the Second course)
Abstract
The article is dedicated to the study of pedagogical legacy of the outstanding ballerina N. M. Dudinskaya, a key figure in the preservation and development of the classical ballet system of A. Y. Vaganova. For the first time in the scholarly discourse of art history and the methodology of teaching classical dance, the notes of Dudinskaya’s lessons, kept in the author’s personal archive, are introduced. With the aim of identifying the specifics of Dudinskaya’s pedagogical approach, the analysis focusses on the practical application of A. Y. Vaganova’s methodology in the second course of the Leningrad Choreographic School.
