Exclusive in Perm («Concerto Baroque», «Sonnambula», «Donizetti Variations»)
Abstract
Article of O. I. Rozanova dedicated to the experience of Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, where the first time in Russia has staged ballets by Balanchine. The author focuses on three ballets: «Concerto Baroque» (1996), «Sonnambula» and «Donizetti Variations» (2001), who opened balanchine creation to the Permian. A closer analysis of the composite characteristics of these ballets, is demonstrated their artistic originality.
